Feed your flora

The population of gut bacteria have a large role to play in immune and digestive health.  Around 80% of our immune status resides in the gut.

Antibiotics, foods and stress can all impact the balance in the gut, leading to symptoms of bloating, discomfort, diarrhoea or constipation.    Energy levels may suffer.

Prebiotic foods, such as onions, garlic, asparagus, chicory and artichokes promote the growth of beneficial microbes.

Welcome to Celestial Health
Consultations offered in Hampshire and Dorset
As a Nutritional Therapist and Iridologist, I have a practical and natural view of life and health.   In the words of William Shakespeare
" our bodies are our gardens - our wills are our gardeners"
We are all the result of our upbringing and ancestry, and our surroundings impact upon us greatly. For those of us who have very little time to devote to food preparation, the food giants have conveniently provided us with ready-prepared meals, many of which contain insufficient nutrients to meet our needs and sub-optimal health may therefore result.
During my six years in training, I have experimented with most foods and experienced the effects of diet and lifestyle change.  A practical, motivational and individual approach to health is required to meet our needs.
As a practitioner, I look into all aspects of an individual's life and offer advice on diet and lifestyle, providing tailored meal plans, recipes and shopping lists.
"If we could give every individual the right amount of nourishment and exercise, not too little and not too much, we would have found the safest way to health"    Hippocrates
